The Integration State Framework for Psychotherapy: A State-Based Approach to Emotional Integration
This manuscript introduces the Integration State Framework for Psychotherapy (ISF) as a developing, research-oriented framework situated within the broader study of state integration in psychotherapy. It defines the Integrative Trance State (ITS) as a reproducible experiential condition relevant to emotional, somatic, symbolic, and autobiographical integration.

The paper outlines the conceptual architecture of ISF, describes organizing principles related to therapist stance and ethical containment, and situates the framework within established bodies of scholarship, including psychotherapy integration, attachment theory, trauma-informed care, hypnosis research, and affective neuroscience.

The manuscript is grounded in systematic clinical observation and phenomenological analysis. It emphasizes descriptive and conceptual clarity rather than treatment efficacy, outcome claims, or comparative superiority. The manuscript is currently under peer review.
